Services:

• Specialist Law Community Legal Centre with client group a state focus
• Provides Legal advice and representation to people who are involuntarily involved in the mental health system
• Legal advice about consumers rights under Mental Health Act
• Will assist appropriate referrals for other legal problems which relate directly to mental illness
• Community Legal Education to Community Legal Centres
• Community, Community Groups, families and individuals (recommencing).
• Provide telephone information to consumers
• Undertake public interest advocacy, law reform and research
  

Referral Criteria:

• Persons presenting with mental health issues

Geographic Region:

• State-wide focus.
• Links to eastern states Mental Health Law Centre
