Cost: Day Service Free, Evening Legal Service free for Health Care Card holders, $15 admin fee for waged

Services:

• Financial counselling, advocacy and debt negotiation assistance


• Assistance and advocacy with issues concerning Centrelink


• Information and advocacy concerning issues arising from residential tenancies and referral to appropriate services


• Daytime legal service


• Evening legal service on Monday and Wednesday evenings providing family and general law advice by appointment only


• Restraining Order Duty Lawyer Service for people in domestic violence situations


• Community Legal Education


• Family Law; Criminal Injuries and Personal Injuries Compensation advice

Referral Criteria:

• Low income and disadvantaged


• Low income clients who do not fit into Centrelink criteria


• Telephone and in-person self referral available

Geographic region:

• Fremantle local government area as well as those areas determined by funding bodies - call for clarification
