Services:

• Albany Community Legal Centre provides information and advice for all community members
• Initial appointment/advice free of charge however dependant upon income ongoing service may be limited
• Free information, legal advice and assistance is provided in family, criminal, civil matters, domestic violence and injuries
• Offers a mediation service staffed by trained mediators/lawyers
• Provides an Individual Disability Advocacy Service which extends over the Great Southern Region
• Staff facilitate Community Legal Education to Community members and Service providers

Referral Criteria:

• Majority of clients are low income with specific legal needs with target group being Indigenous and CALD clients
• No financial criteria exists for initial appointment
• Referral by phone or in person available

Geographic Region:

• Service Agreement areas covers approximately 40,000kms
• Lower Great Southern including Katanning, Gnowangerup, East to Jerramungup and Denmark, South East Wheatbelt, Walpole, Wagin Lake King and Ravensthorpe
• Albany CLC services 1000 plus clients per year
