Services:
- Offer independent information, advice, referral and representation in relation to Social Security and Family Assistance matters;
- Solicitor provides advice in relation to Social Security Prosecution matters;
- Tenancy assistance provided two days per week regarding both private and public tenancies;
- Provide information products including Self Advocacy Kits to community members in relation to the Social Security Appeals Tribunal and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
Referral Criteria:
- Initial phone contact prior to appointment where there is an intake assessment;
- Priority for assistance is given to those on a low inclome, no income or at threat of loss of income or loss of tenancy
Geographic Region:
- Welfare Rights assistance is provided to people living North of the Swan River to the top of the state and across to the Northern Territory/South Australian border
- Tenancy assistance is provided to people living North of the Swan River in the Northern Suburbs of Perth
