Djinda is the Noongar word meaning ‘star’. The star represents us as women who guide our 

families, shine brightly, survive against the odds and are strong in our determination to keep our 

families safe.


A partnership between Relationships Australia Western Australia (RAWA) and the Women’s Law Centre of WA Inc  (WLCWA).


A specialist legal support service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples that have experienced or are at risk of family and domestic violence or sexual assault.


The PAFVPLS will provide legal advice and representation in the areas of violence restraining orders; assisting victims – survivors of family violence and sexual assault; child protection, criminal injuries compensation where it relates to family violence; and family law including child support in the Perth metropolitan area.


The service will also provide community legal education.
